Introduction to the Queen Mother's Palace: Jingchuan Queen Mother's Palace was first built in the Yuanfeng period of the Western Han Dynasty. It was rebuilt twice in the early Song Dynasty and during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It was destroyed by war in the third year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty. It was rebuilt in 1992 and now has main buildings such as the West Queen Mother Hall, the East Prince Hall, and the side halls. The left hall of the side hall is the Hall of Three Emperors and the Hall of King Mu of Zhou; the right hall is the Hall of Five Emperors and the Hall of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. It is the earliest and largest ancestral temple of the Queen Mother of the West in China.
Every year on March 20th of the lunar calendar, a grand gathering of the Queen Mother of the West is held in the Queen Mother Palace. There are huge crowds of people who come to pay homage, and the incense is very strong.
