Introduction to Gefion Fountain: Gefion Fountain is also called Shennong Fountain. It is another group of famous sculptures in Changdi Park. It consists of the goddess Gefion, four oxen and a set of plows. It consists of three sculptures. This statue was sculpted based on this legend.
According to records, the Gifion Fountain was cast by the Danish art sculptor Anders Janssen. The original idea was for the Gifion Fountain to be installed in the Copenhagen City Hall Square. Later, because there was a bronze dragon sculpture on the square, the The location was changed to the current location of Changdi Park. The entire bronze sculpture took about ten years and was completed and unveiled in 1908.
