Introduction to the East Hall: The East Hall was built on the mountainside east of Foguang Temple. It was rebuilt on the site of the Maitreya Pavilion in the 11th year of Dazhong of the Tang Dynasty. The hall is majestic and simple, and is the main building in the temple. The main hall faces east and west, with a width of seven rooms and a depth of four rooms. It is in the shape of a single eaves and four roofs, which is magnificent and extraordinary.
