Introduction to the eaves of the East Main Hall: Mr. Liang Sicheng once said that the East Main Hall has "big arches and far-reaching eaves." According to measurements, the area of the main hall's arches is huge, ten times the cross-section of the arches in the late Qing Dynasty. The eaves of the main hall protrude 3.96 meters, which is also not found in wooden structures after the Song Dynasty. In addition, the uppermost end of the East Hall's hall adopts a herringbone structure, which expands the hall space. This is the first time among existing wooden structures in the country.
