Introduction to the gate of the East Hall: In the early 1980s, someone found a message on the back of the door panel of the East Hall about people from the Tang Dynasty visiting Foguang Temple. It can be inferred from this that the gate of the East Hall is a relic of the Tang Dynasty and is the oldest existing wooden gate in China.
