Zhou Yuan introduced: Ancient Lingtai is one of the oldest places of interest in Lingtai County. In order to seize the Misu Kingdom, King Wen ordered the princes to attack the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, and a fierce war broke out with the people of the Misu Kingdom, the descendants of the emperor. Because the King of Misu was fond of war and was very unpopular at that time, before the war was about to begin, a rainbow suddenly appeared in the sky over Misu. The people of Misu thought that the Lord was coming. Then he tied up his king and handed him over to King Wen of Zhou. In order to celebrate the victory, King Wen of Zhou also publicly declared war on the Shang Dynasty, so he built a sacrifice platform in Lingtai County today and held a ceremony that only the emperor could perform. When the construction started, people from the Misu country came to help one after another, and the platform was quickly built as if blessed by the gods. King Wen was very happy and called the platform the Lingtai.
