Introduction to Bazhai Scenic Area: Bazhai Scenic Area is located 10 kilometers southwest of Danxia Mountain. It is commonly known as Dashi Mountain by local people. It is opposite to Danxia Mountain across the Jinjiang River. It is the core area of the "Great Danxia" Danxia landform. It has 27 buildings with an altitude of 400 meters in the whole area. Among the peaks above 20 meters, this area alone has 20. The highest peak, Bazhai, is 619 meters above sea level and is the "Qomolangma" of Danxia Mountain.
The total area of the scenic spot is more than 40 square kilometers, which is composed of Jinshui, pastoral, villages and fairy mountains and Qiongge mountains. It has a deep and wide territory, high mountains, high gorges, caves, and crisscrossing roads. It is a combined landscape of mountains and rivers. It is the most typical, spectacular, essential and perfect representative of Danxia landform.
