Introduction to the Guangdong Aviation Monument: The "Guangdong Aviation Monument" was built to commemorate the pioneers of my country's aviation industry and the air force officers who died in the Eastern Expedition, the Northern War, and the Anti-Japanese War. In 1987, the Guangzhou Municipal Government decided to move the monument to the cemetery, and the monument was completed in March of the following year. Under the stele are engraved the four words "aviation saves the country" inscribed by Dr. Sun Yat-sen. On top of the stele are engraved the names of 266 aviation heroes such as Feng Ru who died for their country and in the line of duty.
