Introduction to the Leaders Statue Square: The Guangzhou Uprising Leaders Statue Square covers an area of more than 2,000 square meters. On the square are Zhang Tailei, Ye Ting, Su Zhaozheng, Peng Pai, Yun Daiying, Ye Jianying, Yang Yin, Zhou Wenyong, Nie Rongzhen, Chen Yu, Zhao Zixuan, etc. Eleven large statues of the leaders of the Guangzhou Uprising and the Guangzhou Soviet government stand in two rows in the square. Each statue is 2.5 meters high and weighs about 3 tons. They are all made of white marble. They are the same as those in the Uprising Martyrs Cemetery to the north pointing towards the sky. The hands holding the guns line up with each other, forming the largest sculpture group in Guangzhou since the founding of the People's Republic of China.
