Introduction to the Baoen Pagoda: In the first year of Taiji in the Tang Dynasty (712 AD), Huineng’s disciples from Nanhua came to Guoen Temple to build the Baoen Pagoda. It was completed in the summer of the next year, but was later destroyed by fire. Dazhong of the Northern Song Dynasty In the second year of Xiangfu (AD 1009), the second year of Kaixi in the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1206), and the seventeenth year of Zhizheng in the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1357), it was rebuilt three times, and then collapsed again. The tower was rebuilt and completed on the original site in 1990. It has a reinforced concrete structure and seven octagonal floors. There are corridors on each floor for sightseeing. The total height is 28.88 meters.
