Introduction to Dacheng Hall: is the tallest building in the temple. In ancient times, it was the main hall for worshiping Confucius. From November 18 to 21, 1927, the Haifeng County Workers, Peasants and Soldiers Congress was held here. 311 representatives participated in the meeting. Comrade Peng Pai made a political report at the meeting, and the Soviet government was democratically elected. Comrade Peng Pai solemnly declared here the establishment of the Haifeng County Soviet Government, the first county-level Soviet government in the country.
