Before the establishment of the Haifeng Soviet Government, Comrade Peng Pai instructed the construction of "Red Square" here as a venue to celebrate the establishment of the Haifeng Soviet Government. Therefore, the conference rostrum and the Red Square gate were built, and the entire gate was decorated with embossed striped patterns. , the two characters "Red Square" are embossed on the forehead. In January of the following year, the Second Red Division of the Nanchang Uprising Army and the Fourth Red Division of the Guangzhou Uprising Army led by Xu Xiangqian successfully met here.
