Introduction to Wushang Well: There are two historic sites in the garden, Wushang Well and Tingsong Pavilion. Because the wellhead is higher than the ridge of the one-story house in the street, it is called the well on the house. The water is sweet and available all year round. The stone railing at the entrance of the well is simple and ancient, with 23 water-carrying rope ditches. The stone of the rope ditch is as bright as jade. The words "Made by Xiahou Sheng, Sima Xiahou of the Palace in the Fourth Year of Jin Taishi" are engraved on the railings for soldiers to quench their thirst. After years of carrying water, there are now 23 rope marks on the stone plate at the wellhead. There are also the words "the fifth year of Jin Taishi" (269) on the well railing.
