Headquarters introduction: On December 25, 1932, the Fourth Red Army liberated Tongjiang City, and the headquarters was stationed in Tongjiang Confucian Temple until the spring of 1935. For two and a half years, the front army commander-in-chief Xu Xiangqian, political commissar Chen Changhao, deputy commander-in-chief Wang Shusheng, and staff chief Zeng Zhongsheng strategized here, commanding the brave and capable Red Fourth Front Army, the local armed forces in the Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area, and the people to communicate with each other. Relying on Jiang, we smashed the enemy's "Three Routes of Siege" and "Six Routes of Encirclement and Suppression", and successfully carried out three campaigns in Yi (Long) Nan (Ministry), Ying (Shan) Qu (County), and Xuan (Han) Da (County). The offensive campaign, the southern Shaanxi campaign, and the forcible crossing of the Jialing River expanded the base area to more than 42,000 square kilometers, governing 22 counties and one city, with a population of about 5 million. It was the second largest region in the Chinese Soviet Republic. The Red Army also entered Sichuan. The four divisions with more than 14,000 people have grown into five armies with more than 80,000 people, writing a glorious chapter in the history of the Communist Party of China and the history of the Chinese revolution.
