Jade Pagoda Weilan Introduction: Sizhou Pagoda was built during the reign of Emperor Zhongzong of the Tang Dynasty. When Su Dongpo was exiled to Huizhou in the Song Dynasty, he called this pagoda the Great Holy Pagoda, also known as the Jade Pagoda. When the bright moon rises, the cool breeze blows across the lake. Passing by, the lake shines brightly, and the Sizhou Tower standing on the west mountain is reflected in the lake, causing Po Xian to sing the poem "Yi Geng Mountain spits out the moon, and the Jade Tower lies on the gentle waves."
The original pagoda was destroyed in Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in Wanli of the Ming Dynasty. It has lasted more than 300 years and has been repaired many times. When you climb to the top, you can see from afar. The west mountain is lined with green trees, pavilions and corridors, and the scenery is beautiful. Climb the pagoda and look out, Huizhou.
