Introduction to Nanfeng Ancestral Hall: Nanfeng Ancestral Hall, also known as Zeng Gong Ancestral Hall, is located on the northeastern shore of Daming Lake, adjacent to Huibo Tower in the north. It was built in memory of Zeng Gong, a writer in the Northern Song Dynasty and the magistrate of Qizhou (now Jinan). It is said that the Nanfeng Temple built by the people of Qizhou in the Song Dynasty was located approximately in the south of the city; the current Nanfeng Temple was originally the Yan Gong Temple in the late Ming Dynasty to commemorate the water god Yan Xuzi. The high platform in the temple was named Yan Gongtai; Tang Shipei, magistrate of Licheng County, donated money to build three halls in the east of Yan Gong Tai, and set up Zeng Gong's memorial tablet to worship him. The three couplets in the main hall, as the ancestral hall of Shandong Governor Zhang Gui, are commonly known as Zhang Gong Temple. In the early days of the liberation of Jinan, the people's government combined Zeng Gong Temple, Yan Gong Temple and Zhang Gong Temple into one according to the wishes of the people, and changed them to commemorate Zeng Gong. The current Nanfeng Ancestral Hall covers a total area of ​​2,690 square meters. It is a quiet and elegant classical courtyard composed of a foyer, a main hall, a theater, a waterside pavilion, and a verandah. The gate of the courtyard faces east and west, and the plaque "Nanfeng Temple" on the gate is inscribed by contemporary calligrapher Wu Zhongqi; on the south side of the gate is a wide and tall square theater with green tiles and pink walls, carved beams and painted pillars; the "Jianmen Calligraphy and Painting Hall" display in the north hall There are 26 calligraphy treasures and 12 handwritten notes by Mr. Sun Mofo; the stone platform to the east of the north hall is the Yangong platform left over from the original Yangong Temple; to the west of the north hall is the Zeng Gong Ancestral Hall, with a wooden statue of Zeng Gong in the middle, and other displays There are various versions of Zeng Gong's works and evaluation articles, and famous calligraphy and paintings praising Zeng Gong are hung on the walls.
