Jinan Daming Lake Park Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Daming Lake is a natural lake formed by the confluence of many springs in Jinan. The lake water "does not rise in constant rain and does not dry up in long drought". The water is clear and blue, with willows on both sides of the embankment, green lotus and waterside pavilions dotted in between. The Thousand Buddha Mountain to the south is reflected in the lake, forming a natural picture scroll. The pavilions, towers, waterside pavilions and corridors along the lake are staggered and orderly. It has the reputation of "the Pearl of the Spring City" and "the First Garden in Jinan", and is known as one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan together with Baotu Spring and Thousand Buddha Mountain.

Daming Lake is located in Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. The park covers an area of 86 hectares, of which the lake surface is 46 hectares. Lixia Pavilion , Huiquan Hall There are six islands of different sizes, including the Lake Heart Island, with beautiful natural landscapes. There are more than 30 scenic spots and historical sites in the park, including "one pavilion, three gardens, three buildings, four ancestral halls, six islands, seven bridges, and ten pavilions". The most famous ones are: Lixia Pavilion , Arctic Pavilion , Huibo Building , Tiegong Temple , Xiao Canglang , Xia Garden , Nanfeng Ancestral Hall , Jiaxuan Temple , Moon Pavilion , Autumn Willow Garden , Mingchang Bell Pavilion , Huiquan Temple, Baihuazhou etc., showing a long history and culture.
