Introduction to Xiao Canglang: Xiao Canglang Pavilion is located near the lake in the Tiegong Ancestral Temple. It was built in 1792. It is surrounded by lotus ponds on three sides and has a quiet environment. There are many ancient poems, inscriptions and other calligraphy treasures. It is modeled after Suzhou Canglang Pavilion. It is built in the same style and is small in scale, so it is named Xiaocanglang.
Every summer, the lotus flowers in the pond are in full bloom, with petals overlapping each other. The flowers are light pink and delicate, and the fragrance is permeating. It gives people the feeling of "the waves visit the ancient sages, and the fragrance of lotus wraps around the painted beams".
