Introduction to Linyuan Gate: It is the mountain gate of Beihai Temple and one of the six existing Yuan Dynasty buildings in our province. Beihai Temple is the place where people worship the Beihai, which refers to present-day Lake Baikal. It is difficult to offer sacrifices in the desert. Because they are both the water gods of the north, Beihai Temple was built here in the twelfth year of Zhenyuan of the Tang Dynasty (796) to worship the Beihai God.
