Introduction to the stone archway: The stone archway of Kaoting Academy was built by Jiang Zhao, the censor of Fujian Province, and Zhang Jian, the censor of Fujian Province in the 10th year of Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1531), and Zhang Jian, the official of Ningdao. It is a four-column, three-bay, five-archway building. The structure is about 10 meters high and 8.6 meters wide. The four characters "Kaoting Academy" on the plaque on the stele are said to have been written by Emperor Lizong of the Song Dynasty. The pillars are carved with images of lions, unicorns, flying phoenixes, cranes and other auspicious animals and birds, as well as figures such as Taoist priests living in immortals. The stone square has a simple shape and majestic utensils.
