Kotnis introduction: Kotnis, Indian, famous doctor, internationalist fighter. Born in Mumbai, India, in 1910. In 1938, he accompanied the Indian medical aid team to China to assist in the anti-Japanese war. He served in Yan'an and the North China Anti-Japanese Base Area, and served as the chief surgeon of the Department of Surgery of the Eighth Route Military Hospital and the first president of the Bethune International Peace Hospital. In the early morning of December 9, 1942, Kotnis died of an epileptic seizure in Tang County, Hebei Province. He was only 32 years old.
