Introduction to Chengling Pagoda: Chengling Pagoda is the only remaining ancient building in Linji Temple. It was built in the eighth year of Xiantong in the Tang Dynasty (867) and is the mantle tower of Yixuan Grandmaster. The tower is an octagonal nine-level solid brick tower with dense eaves, 30.47 meters high, and built on an octagonal stone foundation. There is a stone base on the platform, a brick Xumizuo on top, a flat seat and railings on the base, and a rosette on top. The rosette is the first floor of the tower. The first floor is very high and has brick doors and windows.
