Introduction to Cuiyun Cave: The Shangqing Palace in Luoyang was abandoned during the Jin and Yuan Dynasties. It was rebuilt many times in the future and was also renovated during the Republic of China. During the Anti-Japanese War, it was severely damaged by Japanese bombs. Only Cuiyun Cave, the platform above the cave, and the Laojun Hall on the top of the three Wuji Xieshan Mountains survived. The surviving Cuiyun Cave retains its original appearance, simple and quiet.
