Introduction to Pu'an Building: Historically, Min'an was the only landing point for the French army after the Majiang naval battle between China and France. The local people spontaneously formed a resistance force, but the leader Chen Mingliang was killed by the French army on this street because he was outnumbered. In order to commemorate him, later generations specially built an arcade "Pu'an Tower" here to commemorate his passion for defending Min'an.
