Introduction to the true body of the Sixth Patriarch: The true body statue of the Sixth Patriarch is enshrined in the antique Sixth Patriarch Hall with red walls and green tiles. The seated statue is 80 centimeters high. The Sixth Patriarch Hui Neng (also known as Hui Neng) is sitting in lotus position, with his legs and feet entangled in his cassock, and his hands are stacked in front of his abdomen to form a fixed posture. The head is upright, facing forward, the eyes are closed, the face is thin, the lips are slightly thick, and the cheekbones are high. From the statue, we can see the thoughtful and discerning wisdom and the transcendent temperament of self-enlightenment of this weather-beaten eminent monk, with vivid and lifelike expressions. It is the most precious cultural relic of Nanhua Temple.
