Introduction to Panchi: Panchi is located on the north side of the Wanren Palace wall. The pool is semicircular and surrounded by stone railings. It is called "Panchi" and is one of the landmark buildings of the Confucian Temple. There were originally two sets of culverts in the lower part of the Panchi that were connected to the culverts outside the palace wall, so the water in the pool was endless all year round. During the Anti-Japanese War, Panchi was filled up and re-excavated in 1970. Now it is no longer connected to Yundu.
