Introduction to Wuban Bridge: Wuban Bridge was originally a small bridge in the southern section of the small canal. It was built with five stone slabs, hence its name. In 2010, during the protective construction of Mendong, five stone slabs of the original bridge were found underground. The stone slabs were intact, more than 1 foot wide and about 2 meters long. So a new small bridge was built and the streets near the bridge were named "Wubanqiao".
