Introduction to Peking University Library: In 1902, the Beijing Normal University Library was built and was one of the earliest modern new libraries in my country. After the Revolution of 1911, it was renamed Peking University Library. For more than a hundred years, through the hard work of several generations of Peking University people, the Peking University Library has formed a collection system with rich types, complete subjects, and a collection of treasures. As of 2009, it has a collection of more than 8 million books. The collection of 1.5 million ancient Chinese books attracts world attention, of which 200,000 are rare books from the 5th to 18th centuries, which are cultural treasures of the Chinese nation. In addition, the collection of foreign rare books, epigraphy and stone rubbings, and publications before 1949 are among the best in domestic libraries and are cherished by researchers. In recent years, a large number of domestic and foreign digital resources have been introduced, including hundreds of thousands of databases, electronic journals, electronic books and dissertations, and are very popular among readers.
