As the center of the New Culture Movement and the source of the May Fourth Movement, the birthplace of the earliest dissemination of Marxism and democratic scientific thought in China, and the earliest base of the Communist Party of China, Peking University has made an indelible contribution to the rejuvenation and liberation of the nation. The traditional spirit of patriotism, progress, democracy, and science and the style of study of diligence, rigor, truth-seeking, and innovation are passed down from generation to generation here. In 1917, the famous educator Cai Yuanpei became the president of Peking University. Chen Duxiu, Li Dazhao, Mao Zedong, Lu Xun, Hu Shi and other outstanding talents have served or taught at Peking University.

Location:

Peking University campus, also known as Yanyuan, was once a royal "gift garden" during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It covers an area of 4,062 mu and is adjacent to the Old Summer Palace and the Summer Palace. For hundreds of years, its basic structure and charm have remained, with both the grandeur of a royal garden and the elegance of a Jiangnan water town. Unnamed Lake , Boya Tower The library and the tower form one of the most famous landscapes in the country's colleges and universities, the "One Tower and One Lake". The beautiful and elegant natural environment and the charming campus cultural life allow you to feel the natural sounds of nature and the rich and simple fragrance of books. The beautiful lake light and tower shadows are accompanied by the master's back. This is the most beautiful picture in Yanyuan. As the saying goes, " Unnamed Lake It is good to cultivate one's character by the side of a master, and it is good to read books near a master."
