Introduction to Zheng Daozhao: Zheng Daozhao (455-516), courtesy name Xi Bo, was a poet and calligrapher in the Northern Wei Dynasty and the youngest son of Zheng Xi, a minister of the Northern Wei Dynasty. He is the originator of Wei stele style. He is good at calligraphy and has elegant style. He is known as the "Northern Sage of Calligraphy" and is as famous as Wang Xizhi in the South. There are many calligraphy carvings on the cliffs in Pingdu and other places, collectively known as "Yunfeng Carved Stones", which became one of the three treasures of calligraphy art in the Northern Wei Dynasty.
