Introduction to Yimen: Yimen is the second gate of the county government, that is, the "Gate of Etiquette". It was built in the 47th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. It is a building that strengthens the feudal etiquette system. The ceremonial gate is usually closed. It can only be opened when the magistrate takes office, greets guests, or has major celebrations, as a sign of solemnity. There are two corner gates on both sides of the Yimen. The east side is the "human gate" for the magistrate's daily access, and the west side is the "ghost gate" for interrogating prisoners or escorting death row prisoners.
