Introduction to Enteromorpha: Enteromorpha is a green algae plant that mostly grows on tidal flats and gravels in mid-tidal zones. It is rich in high protein, high dietary fiber, low fat and low energy, so it is an alga commonly consumed by coastal people. In recent years, due to global warming, water eutrophication and other reasons, marine large algae have frequently exploded, and Enteromorpha is one of them. Large amounts of Enteromorpha have gathered on the shore, blocking waterways and seriously threatening the development of coastal fisheries and tourism. The picture shows a green tide of Enteromorpha prolifera that broke out in mid-July 2011.
