Introduction to Wang Mangling: It is said that Wang Mang of the Western Han Dynasty followed Liu Xiu and set up camp here, hence the name. The cliffs here are towering and the ravines are deep. Due to the fractured geological zone formed here by the Taihang Mountains, this shockingly dangerous peak and deep ravine is created. It is also called the "phantom of cloud mountains" because of its dangerous peaks, vast sea of clouds, and ever-changing clouds. Standing on Wangmangling and looking around, you will see that to the west and north are the 800-mile Taihang Mountains, and to the east and south is the Zhongzhou Plain. 2.7 billion years ago, there was a vast ocean here. Due to the two major orogenies of the Yanshan Movement and the Himalayas, the Zhongzhou Plain fell and the Taihang Mountains rose and rose. Wangmangling is located at the fault zone of these two plates. After a long period of geological movement, special landform features have been formed. Wangmangling is 1,650 meters above sea level, and the Zhongzhou land at its feet is 3,400 meters above sea level. In this large drop, there are countless strange peaks, canyons, cliffs, stone forests, waterfalls, and caves. Wangmangling is the most representative section of this fault zone. , the relics of four geological ages are gathered here, so it is called "four generations under one roof".
