Introduction to Qintai: Qintai is the place where Yu Boya, a luthier from Chu State, played the piano and composed "Mountains and Flowing Waters". Yu Boya was a native of Chu State during the Spring and Autumn Period. He was fond of music since he was a child and studied piano with his teacher Cheng Lian. But after three years of studying, I haven’t made much progress. Chenglian told him that if he wanted to learn the piano well, he not only had to work hard on his playing skills, but also had rich life experiences and insights. So Yu Boya packed his luggage, took his guqin, and embarked on the journey of his life. He crossed the Yellow River in the north, faced the sea in the east, and visited famous mountains and rivers, enriching his life experience and gaining a lot of knowledge. During his travels, he heard that there was a blind prime minister named Shi Kuang in Jin State. He was a particularly good luther player. He was not only proficient in music rhythm, but could also predict the victory or defeat of wars, the safety of the regime, and the good and bad luck of personnel through music. . So he decided to go to the state of Jin to become his disciple, Shi Kuang. When he walked to Guiou Mountain, the scenery here was very majestic, majestic and majestic. With his back to the towering Taihang Mountains and his face to the roaring Yellow River, he was inspired to create. So he set up his harp, tuned the strings, and played as he pleased. Unexpectedly, he played so beautifully that the mountains were moved; the pines and waves accompanied him; the waterfalls and springs all followed his rhythm; the birds and animals also stopped to listen to his music. An old man on the cliff opposite was so intoxicated by the sound of his piano that he unknowingly turned into a stone man. This was the creation process of the eternally famous song "Mountains and Flowing Waters". Yu Boya was so excited that he packed his bags and returned to Chu State, hoping to use the sound of his piano to awaken the bureaucrats and powerful people who were intoxicated with the music. Unfortunately, the politics of Chu State at that time was very corrupt, and the world was in decline. No one can understand his music, and no one can understand his painstaking efforts. So he often went to the mountains beside the Yangtze River to play the piano alone and talk to the sky. Once, Boya took a boat for a trip along the river. When the boat reached a high mountain, it suddenly started raining heavily. The boat stopped on the mountainside to take shelter from the rain. Boya listened to the sound of pattering rain and watched the vivid scene of rain hitting the river, and he became very excited about playing the piano. Boya was enjoying playing when he suddenly felt a strange trembling on the strings. This was the telepathy of the luthier, indicating that someone was listening nearby. When Boya stepped out of the boat, he saw a woodcutter named Zhong Ziqi sitting by the woods on the shore. Boya invited Ziqi to the boat, and they exchanged names. Boya said, "Can I play a piece of music for you?" Ziqi immediately said that he was all ears. When Yu Boya's ball hit a high mountain, Zhong Ziqi said: "It's as tall as a mountain." When Yu Boya hit a flowing stream, he said again: "It's as tall as a river or sea." Boya couldn't help being pleasantly surprised after hearing this. In the past, no one could understand what he was expressing with the sound of the piano, but the woodcutter in front of him could actually understand it clearly. Unexpectedly, under this wild ridge, I would meet the soulmate I had not been looking for for a long time. The two of them immediately set a table and started drinking. The more they talked, the more they became more and more speculative, and they felt that it was too late to meet each other. Then the two became sworn brothers and agreed to meet here again during the Mid-Autumn Festival next year.
