Introduction to St. Peter and Paul Church: Saints Peter and Paul Church is a Roman Catholic church in San Francisco, located on Filbert Street in the North Beach neighborhood. No. 666, opposite Washington Square, is known as "La cattedrale d'Italia ovest" (Italian Cathedral of the West). The church is also one of the important places in the life of the famous figure DiMaggio. After the ceremony with Marilyn Monroe in 1954, he specially came here to take pictures. His funeral was later held here.
