Introduction to Desert Economic Fruit Garden: Xinjiang, located in the desert area of Central Asia, is one of the important regions in the world for the origin and cultivation of fruit trees. There are about 93 species of wild fruit trees and related plants in 13 families, 28 genera and 4 Variations, including more than 60 species of desert wild fruit trees, many of which are rare and endangered species endemic to the country and region.
The Desert Economic Fruit Tree Specialty Garden was established in 1995, covering an area of 1.2 hectares. More than 30 species of wild economic fruit trees and cultivated species in arid desert areas have been introduced and preserved. It can be used as a source of rare and endangered wild fruit trees and existing cultivated fruit tree species in arid desert areas.
