Introduction to the Provincial Department of Justice: The former site of the Shandong Provincial Department of Justice (Anrentang) covers an area of 917 square meters and houses two exhibition rooms, the Provincial Department of Justice and the Provincial High Court. When the Shandong Provincial Government was established on August 13, 1945, it established the Department of Justice, with Li Yu, Chairman of the Provincial Government, concurrently serving as the Director. The Department of Justice is responsible for judicial administration and various trial work in the liberated areas. In April 1949, the Provincial Department of Justice moved to Jinan along with the provincial government. In July 1950, the Provincial Department of Justice was renamed the Shandong Provincial People's Court, with three departments: administration, trial and secretary. In December 1979, the Provincial Department of Justice was established separately.
