Introduction to Huayan Cave: Huayan Cave in Fangfangshan Mountain is the place where Hui Sheng, the founder of Huayan Sect, practiced practice. In 2005, Master Benru, the fortieth generation founder of Huayan Sect from Heilongjiang, passed away here after practicing for many years and became China's An extremely rare "flesh-body Buddha" in the north.
Master Benru became a monk in 1961 and went to Mount Wutai in 1978 to receive additional ordination. In 1981, he went to the top of Dongtai in Wutai Mountain and stayed in Narayana Cave for retreat. In the autumn of 1982, he became enlightened in Narayana Cave. A few years later, Master Benru developed Dongtai into a prosperous place. In 1995, the eminent monk "Benru" who was already the presiding officer of Wanghai Tower in Shandong, Wutai saw the same old monk in two dreams and asked him to continue the Huayan Cave. Master Benru believed that the old monk in the dream was the founder of Fangfang Mountain. Huisheng then gave up his "status" in Mount Wutai, moved to Fangfang Mountain in 1996, and settled in Huayan Cave to open a dojo until his death in the cave in January 2005 at the age of 81. Before his death, Master Benru told his disciples, "Put his physical body in a vat. After three years, open the vat and you will become a Buddha in the flesh." Leave the whole body relics for the benefit of the world. Sure enough, when the vat was opened three years later, the master was sitting in meditation peacefully as before, with his body intact. The body was gilded and enshrined in the temple dedicated to cultivation.
