Introduction to the central scenic area of Yu Garden: The central scenic area includes Deyue Tower and Qizaotang. Deyue Tower is located in the west of Yuhuatang and Yulinglong, facing water on both sides. It was built in the 25th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1760) and rebuilt in the 18th year of Guangxu's reign (1890). It was named after the meaning of "the first to get the moon near the water and the tower". The scenic spots in the central part of Yuyuan Garden include: Deyue Tower, Qizaotang, Zhiting Pavilion, Huanyun Rockery, and Library.
