Introduction to Martin Anchors: Martin Anchors are the original iron anchors of aircraft carriers located on both sides of the gate. Each weighing 40 tons in the Peace Square at the entrance of the gate is the sculpture "Forging Swords into Plowshares", which is a masterpiece of the People's Artist of the Soviet Union Uchegich. A replica of the original is displayed in the United Nations Plaza in New York.
