It was built in 1468 and was created by the first Dalai Lama Gendhun Drubpa. This platform is 32 meters high, 42.5 meters long and 3.5 meters thick. It is divided into nine floors, connected by internal wooden ladders. There are many turning prayer racks, wind horses and rock carvings on both sides of this platform.
