Introduction to the monument to the rescue of Mihoko: Next to the mass grave is the monument to the rescue of Mihoko. The inscription is handwritten by Mihoko, the survivor of the Japanese army. It records that in the famous Hundred Regiments War, the Central Column of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region captured the new shaft of the Jingxing Mine and rescued the Japanese girl Mihoko from the flames of war at the New Well Railway Station. As well as Mihoko's gratitude to the Chinese military and civilians and her hope for world peace.
