Introduction to the Preah Khan Temple: The Preah Khan Temple is a major temple built in Angkor, Cambodia during the period of Jayavarman VII in the 12th century. It is adjacent to the northeast of Angkor Thom and is large in scale. The entire building is in the shape of a cross, with a central church in the center and four gates in the east, south, west and north connected by a vaulted corridor. Outside the gate is a long corridor. Further inside is the central sanctuary, where the inner walls shine with enchanting brilliance because they are decorated with bronze, and inside is the statue of Avalokiteshvara, a god designed according to the face of the king.
