Introduction to Banteay Samre: Banteay Samre is the best-preserved building in Angkor and is known as Little Angkor. It is a majestic temple surrounded by a moat and high walls. There is a central ancestral hall in the middle surrounded by a cloister, and there are auxiliary platforms around the cloister. In particular, the central ancestral hall has a main hall, which is very close to the east pagoda gate. The central ancestral hall and the east and west tower gates are separate buildings. The first and second city walls (corridors) are also equipped with four tower gates in the east, west, north and south. There are two scripture collection buildings facing west inside the second city wall.
