Introduction to the ruins: The earliest part of the church was built at the end of the 10th century. The construction process took several centuries and was finally completed in the 19th century. It is the only cultural relic building in Bulgaria that has been completely preserved since the 13th century and reflects the artistic characteristics of the Bulgarian court.
