Introduction to St. George's Church: St. George's Church (Sveti Georgi Rotunda) is located between the Hilton Hotel and the ruins of the ancient city of Sofia. It is the oldest building in Sofia. The church is an early Christian red brick circular building built by the Romans in the 4th century AD. The murals under its central dome from the 12th to 14th centuries are very famous. Currently, three layers of murals have been discovered in the church, which can be traced back to the 10th century. Today, services are held every day at St. George's Church.
