Introduction to Anqian Palace: Anqian Palace, also known as Dongpo Shouxe and Chenpu Ancestral Hall, is a three-story wooden pavilion-style building. Standing on the cow-shaped hinterland of Dongpo Village, it was first built in the 18th year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1661) and rebuilt during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. The building area is 850 square meters. Due to the high terrain, each wooden pillar stands on the foundation stone. The pillar wood is not susceptible to moisture and remains dry. Even after more than 300 years, the wood texture is still intact and there is no trace of corrosion. The palace enshrines Zhang Shengjun, a legendary figure of the Lushan sect of Taoism shared by Fujian and Taiwan, and Ruigong, the local deity. From ancient times to the present, Anqian Palace has been a place for villagers to gather, discuss affairs, worship Buddha, and watch plays. Every year, a grand parade is held on the third day of the first lunar month, which is very lively.
