Introduction to Xiaxincuo: Xiaxincuo, also known as Shushantang, was built by Lin Tianpei in the 13th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1833). It is a typical southern courtyard house. Among the more than 120 ancient residential buildings in Songkou, the courtyard in Xiaxincuo is unique in shape. In 1986, the crew of CCTV's "Liao Zhai" took a fancy to the unique layout of this ancient house and came here to film the series "Fox Man".
