Introduction to Blackstone House: Blackstone House was an apartment built by Mrs. Isabel Breston (Blackstone) of Chicago for Dr. Chung Rong-Kwong (the first Chinese president of Lingnan University) who served as provost of Lingnan Academy and president of Lingnan University. . Construction started in 1914. In memory of the person who donated the building, it was later called the "Black Stone House". It is currently used as a school guest house.
