Introduction to the relief stone pagoda forest: The first thing you see when entering the gate of the Matisi Temple tourist area is the pagoda forest in the northern section of Thousand Buddha Cave. There are about dozens of stone pagodas of different sizes, distributed on the steep red sandstone, where ascetics live. Or a place where relics are stored. Most of the stone pagodas were carved in the Yuan and Ming dynasties, and there are also treasures from Xixia. They generally consist of a pagoda base, a pagoda body, a Xumi base, a phase wheel, a brake disc and a top.
